Bananak

So tonight I decided to make Bananak! I would rate this recipe an 8 out of 10 :P It's delicious even more with a cup of hot cocoa or coffee! The whole bread has approx. 3789 calories. If you cut it into 15 pieces then each piece will have approx. 250 calories! less than the 400 calorie banana muffin I ate the other day...

Bananak Recipe

Ingredients-
4 large ripe bananas or 6 small.
2 cups of all purpose flour ( I used Golds all purpose flour)
1 tsp of baking soda
1/2 tsp of baking powder
1/2 cup of soften butter (its usually a whole bar)
1 1/2 cups of sugar
1/2 tsp of salt
2 eggs

1 tsp of vanilla extract
4 tablespoons of sour cream (the secret ingredient that makes them moist! btw ignore my moms nail polish XD)

1/2 cup of pecan/walnuts (optional) or you can add as many as you want

INSTRUCTIONS-

First preheat your oven to 350 degrees!

Sift the flour, baking soda, and baking powder in a large bowl.

Then in a different/mixing bowl cream the butter, sugar, and salt with a batter on low.

Then this is what it should look like afterwards!

Then you add the eggs, sour cream, and vanilla extract and mix them again with the batter

Then this is what it looks like afterwards...

Then you add the dry ingredients that are in the other bowl to this bowl and mix them together until it looks like that --->

Then you mash the bananas in a different bowl  (I used the same one where the dry ingredients were)
then after they look like kinda watery you add them to the bowl where all the other ingredients are and you mix them together.

Then it should look like this! and if you want to put some pecan or walnuts or any other kind of nut this is the perfect time to do so

Then pour your mixture into your bundt/tray, but first coat it with some cooking spray! and if you don't have any then just grease it with butter :P then place it into a preheated, 350 oven for about an hour (mine was ready in about 40 minutes so check it frequently with a toothpick. If a toothpick comes out clean, it's done!)

Then after about an hour take it out and its ready to eat! CAUTION it's hot! OR you can cut it into 15 pieces and let them cool a bit for better taste (I like them kinda warm not hot!)

Enjoy! :)
